John spent Christmas and New
Year in St Louis, Senegal with Massami and a Japanese girl on a motorbike
– we are awaiting further details!
Since his arrival in Dakar, Massami and John have gone their
separate ways. Massami has flown to Tunis where he is to continue his
cycling trip around Sicily, Italy, Greece and Turkey.
John phoned us this evening and
is camped in the bush on route from Dakar to Mali.
He has chosen to change his route to avoid the Ivory Coast and will
therefore be heading through Burkina Faso.
